Aim/Purpose of Job

Ultimate Packaging Ltd, the largest independent flexible packaging manufacturers in the U.K. is continuing to grow and are looking for Warehouse Operatives (counterbalance) to join our team


Main Duties & Tasks

Our warehouse operatives are involved in the supply of materials to and from the manufacturing departments requiring the accurate scanning, dispatch and recording of materials to maximise service levels and to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.  On occasion operatives may be required to work within other service areas to support the business needs.

Applicants must hold a Counter Balance Licence. A valid Pivot Steer (Bendi) Licence would be advantageous, but not essential as full training can be provided.

Full in house training will be given, including pivot steering FLT, reach FLT, PPT & Ride On PPT offering excellent long-term future career prospects. Working shift patterns, including days and nights, 7 days over a 2 weeks pattern.

Starting rate £9.75 per hour, with potential to rise to £11.30 per hour.

PPE Provided

All applicants must be 18 years or over and be eligible to work in the UK

Attitudes & Qualities

Applicants must demonstrate a self-motivated approach to their workload, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A meticulous eye for detail and a high level of accuracy is required in recording of information to meet quality standards.

Previous experience within a food environment is preferable, but not essential.
