BerryWorld supply a wide range of tasty berries and prepared fruit across the world. This year they celebrate 25 years of bringing fruit lovers the very best that the berry world has to offer.
Ultimate Packaging has worked alongside BerryWorld to print their new sleek design for their strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and blueberry punnets. It was only recently in 2016 BerryWorld started to brand their products with the BerryWorld name and rightly so! Who wouldn’t want to put their name to these delicious berries.
A real group effort, trialled initially using our state of the art digital print presses, making sure that the design was as BerryWorld expected it. Once the initial look was approved, the designs were transferred to the flexo side of the busniess and with Berryworld team on site to see the first full production run, we were given the go ahead to print these fantastic new designs.
“The new brand look was born out of a need for an efficient, commercially viable brand which delivers for both consumers and growers.” said Charlotte Knowles, Head of Brand & Marketing at BerryWorld. “Collaborative work between growers and staff over the past 18 months has developed clear strategies and processes for the brand, including product quality, design and packaging specifications”.
The contemporary packaging featuring a white ‘B’ is a visual centre point which showcases the company’s best asset; its berries. The new packaging offers retailers more prominence on-shelf and a wider and bolder colour palette has also been introduced through outer packaging formats and all digital marketing touchpoints. This includes a new range of recipes, from snacks to mains, all photographed from an overhead view, again providing a visual centre point to their premium berries.
The new range of lidding film uses Ultimates latest Adapt Map™ technology. This ensures that the product is kept fresh and reaches its expected shelf life; reducing food waste.
